Properties driver tabs

The Properties driver tabs control the driver behavior and driver connections. Follow these steps to
gain access to the Properties tabs.
1. Click Start, Settings, and then click one of the following:

for Windows 2000, click Printers.
● for Windows XP Professional and Window Server 2003, click Printers and Faxes.
●
for Windows XP Home, click Printers and Other Hardware Devices.
2. Right-click the printer name, and then click Properties
The following Properties tabs are available:

Sharing
●
Ports
●
Advanced
●
Security
● Device Settings
●
About
The Device Settings and About tabs are HP driver tabs and are described in this guide. The other
Properties tabs are Windows tabs. For information about those tabs, see the documentation that came
with your computer.
