HP Embedded Web Server

The HP Embedded Web Server (HP EWS) is a Web application that allows users to control settings on
the HP Color LaserJet 2605 series printer through the Web browser. To open the HP EWS, open your
Web browser and type the printer IP address in the address bar.
The following tabs are available when you open the HP EWS:

LaserJet 2605dtn models, which come standard with on-board networking capabilities.
Status tab
The Status tab allows you to access and print out detailed information regarding device and supply
status, device configuration, network configuration, and usage.
The Status tab contains the following pages:

Event Log page
Device Status
The Device Status page shows device status messages from the device. The Device Status page also
displays some pertinent printer information and device settings.
