Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory
recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during
the installation. Installation of this kit without proper knowledge of the
factory recommended procedures may affect the performance of these
components and the safety of the vehicle

  • Page 3 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 2 | Use a T15 Torx tool to remove the (6) bolts retaining the front grille. 855-680-9595 NEED HELP?
  • Page 4 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 3 | Use a T15 Torx tool to remove the (6) bolts (per side) retaining the inner fenders. STEP 4 | Fold back the inner fender to gain access to back of the factory front bumper. STEP 5 | Use a T15 Torx tool to remove the (6) bumper retaining bolts underneath the vehicle.
  • Page 5 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 6 | Use a 7mm socket or wrench to remove the bumper support bolt. STEP 7 | On the inside of the bumper where it connects to the fender, there are (3) bolts on each side connecting the two. Using a 7mm socket, remove these bolts.
  • Page 6 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 9 | If equipped with factory or aftermarket recovery mounts, remove them from the frame. Remove the two small mounts on the bottom of the frame using a 10mm socket. 855-680-9595 NEED HELP?
  • Page 7 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 10 | Remove the (4) factory crash bar bolts with a 15mm socket. STEP 11 | Remove the plastic air valance above where the crash bar was located using a push pin tool. Note: There are clips on the side that often break when removed.
  • Page 8 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 12 | Moving to the bumper. Lay it face down on a soft surface to work on. Trim the lower edge support among the line. We used a grinder for our trimming, and cleaned up the cut lines with a file and fine sand paper.
  • Page 9 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 14 | Once removed, cut out center portion of the plastic as shown. For this install, we cut all the way to the painted portion on the sides, and left the small black plastic trim along the top edge (green oval).
  • Page 10 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 15 | Once the front bumper is cut, set aside. On the front of the truck, unplug the grille shutters. There are two plugs, one on top and one on the side. Using a push pin tool, detach both from the air dam. STEP 16 | Remove the active grille shutters using a 10mm socket.
  • Page 11 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 17 | Lay down on soft surface facing down. Unwrap ambient air temp sensor until the wiring is above the “grid” style section. Cut the “grid” section away from shutters. This will allow the grill shutters to work similar to factory, but allow clearance for a winch.
  • Page 12 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 19 | Reinstall shutters onto vehicle with factory hardware and 10mm socket. Reattach the (2) connectors. STEP 20 | Moving to the DV8 Centric bumper, lay the bumper face down on a soft surface to prevent any damage.
  • Page 13 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 21 | Using the provided M6 hardware, #4 allen, and 10mm wrench install light and bracket onto the bumper. STEP 22 | If running 3” pod lights, install now. Mount using hardware provided with the light. STEP 23 | If installing a winch, install the winch, using hardware provided with the winch, install now.
  • Page 14 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 24 | Once bumper is complete, using either factory hardware and 15mm socket, or provided hardware with 16mm socket, loosely install bumper onto vehicle crash bar mounts. STEP 25 | After the Dv8 bumper is installed using the (4) crash bar bolts, (if equipped with the factory skid plate) using a 16mm socket, remove the front (2) bolts and loosen the rear (2) bolts to...
  • Page 15 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 26 | With the skid plate removed, you can install the (3) lower bolts with a #5 allen and a 16mm socket. Center the bumper and tighten until secure.   • Page 16 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 29 | Using a T15 torx bit, reinstall the inner fender supports along the bottom and inner fender bolts. STEP 30 | Using a T15 Torx bit, install the upper grille bolts. STEP 31 | Using your factory push pins, install the radiator support cover.
