Assemble the Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter according to the guidelines provided below : NOTE Make sure that the flow arrow stamped on the Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter is pointing in the same direction as the process flow.
Technology Solutions 6.Electrical Connections 6.1 Liquid Measurement The Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter should not be used in vertical liquid or steam applications if the fluid is flowing down. 6.2 Gas Measurement Due to drain vent orientation, a direct mount 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter should not be used in vertical gas applications if the fluid is flowing up.
Check flow direction Check that the flow arrow on the neck of the Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter points in the direction of flow. If the DP transmitter is remote mounted from the Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter , be sure that the impulse tubing is connected correctly from the Tek-DP 1611I Compact Orifice Flow Meter to the DP transmitter (high to high and low to low).
