- Page 4 Installing/Uninstalling Accessories 1. Installing the battery To install the battery, aim the battery pack at the battery slot of the radio, and then push it forward. When a "click" is heard, the battery is locked. 2. Removing the battery To remove the battery, turn off the radio, press the battery latch at the bottom of the radio, and draw out the battery backward.
- Page 5 Charging the battery The battery is not charged when delivered, so it has not reached its normal capacity. Therefore, please charge the battery before starting using it. After long-term storage (more than 2 months), the battery should be charged as well before use. After charging/discharging for two or three times, the battery capacity will reach the optimal state.

Selecting a member Method 1: In standby state, click the 【Menu key】, select Member Selection and then Group Member, press the 【Up/Down key】 to select a member, and press the 【Menu key】. To exit, hold down the 【Menu key】. Method 2: In standby state, hold down the 【side key 2】.

To quit, hold down the【Menu key】. ① Sound quality: Set standard or high-definition sound. ② Alert tone: Enable/disable alert tone, and set a volume level. ③ Screen on via PTT: In screen-off state, whether to turn on the screen when the PTT key is pressed.
