FCC NOTES
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A

  • Page 6 Remove one screw on the plastic cover. Remove the plastic cover. Remove. Connect the USB type-C cable to the USB type-C port on the top side of the main board.
  • Page 7 Install the hinge with five screws, being careful not to press the cables. Route the cable like the below picture and then close the plastic cover back to the POS terminal.
  • Page 8 Pass the USB type-C cable through the cable exit of the hinge bracket, and then install the hinge bracket with four M4 screws. Install. Install. Fix four M4 screws.
  • Page 9 Connect the USB type-C cable to the 2 display. Connect the USB type-C cable. 10. There are two hooks on the hinge bracket. Hook the 2 display onto the hinge bracket.

Rotate 15.6” Main Display from Portrait to Landscape The 15.6” model (BT-3016/8016) is portrait as default. If customer needs landscape type, please rotate the main display manually follow the steps below. Before installation, the POS terminal must be completely turned off.
  • Page 11 Remove the display kit by lifting the display kit upward, and then you can find the two slot designed for landscape version. Slots designed for Lift. landscape version. Please rotate the display kit counterclockwise.
  • Page 12 Hook the display kit to the hinge bracket. Fix the display kit with two original screws. Connecting I/O Cables Remove the cable cover.
  • Page 13 Connect power adapter and I/O cables to the bottom I/O interface. Before pushing the cover back into place, neatly thread the cables through the cable exit. Close the cable cover. CAUTION: On doing insertion or extraction of a cable connector, please always hold the connector head itself instead of pulling the cable wire.
  • Page 14 Before installing 2-inch paper roll in the thermal printer, place paper separator in the paper roll compartment by following the instructions below. If you are using 3” paper roll for the printer, please skip to next step. 2.1. Hold the separator with the sharp- pointed side down.

    To load the thermal printer with the 3-inch paper roll, just drop the thermal paper roll inside the paper roll compartment of the printer as illustrated in the figure. Unroll the thermal paper and drag the loose end of the paper till it extends towards the paper cutter.
  • Page 16 Power off the printer; after 10 seconds, power it back on. If the error LED indicator turns on again even after turning the power back on, malfunction may occurs. Contact your dealer or Posiflex’ technical service team. Restore Software Switch to Factory Default via Software...
  • Page 17 3. Keep pressing the feed button and then power on the printer. The printer will emit one short beep sound. 4. Press the feed button of the printer 4 times. 5. Close the paper roll cover manually. 6. The printer will emit one long beep sound and then print a page displaying LAN default settings.
  • Page 18 However, it is likely that BT series cannot restart or shut down normally due to the unexpected reasons. In such a case, it is suggested to initiate a shutdown by keeping holding down the power button more than 10 seconds. Status LED Indicator The status LED indicator is located around the power button.
