CONTROLS
There are three modes to set how the Controls (knobs & sliders) of the front panel react when
their parameters are stored on a preset:
JUMP: In Jump mode, tweaking a knob/slider, will force the control value to jump
immediately from the stored value to the value set by the knob/slider.
CATCH: In Catch mode, tweaking a knob/slider has no effect until the control value "passes
through" the stored value.
SCALE: In Scale mode, changes of the control value are relative to the stored value. When
rotating the knob to the left, the value will be decreased, and accordingly when rotating the
knob to the right, the value from the value previously set will be increased.
LOAD PREVIEW
Turns ON/OFF the preset preview function. When Load preview is OFF, presets will not
load automatically as you scroll through, but instead the LOAD button will require to be
pressed, in order to load the preset.
PRESET DUMP
It performs a Sysex Preset Dump for the current preset or all the presets of the Murmux. You
will need a software program such as SysEx Librarian for Mac, or Bome SendSX for
Windows, in order to do so.
After installing the software, run it and connect Murmux to your computer via USB or
MIDI. Then enable recording on the software and engage the preset dump either Current or
All. A Sysex message or 400 Sysex messages will be recorded on the software accordingly.
Accordingly to restore presets you can send a Sysex file back to the Murmux at any point to
store the presets in the unit itself.
FIRMWARE
Version: Current firmware version number will be displayed on the screen.
Update: Murmux will enter the Bootloader to proceed with a firmware update.
Press the Encoder to select YES and enter the Bootloader.
Bootloader can alternatively be accessed by turning the Murmux on,
while holding down the Encoder
