SYNC: Activates Hard Sync. When in Hard Sync mode, VCO 2 wave cycle is forced to
synchronize to the phase of the wave cycle of VCO 1 .
SYNC can achieve harmonically complex waveforms, especially when VCO 2 pitch is set
higher than VCO 1 pitch.
MIXER: Mixes the levels of Oscillator 1, Oscillator 2 and Noise source. The knob is
continuously blending the levels, from OFF (silence), to Oscillator 1 only, to Oscillator 1+2,
to Oscillator 1+2+Noise, to Oscillator 2+Noise, to Noise only.
MOD 1: Sets the modulation source and modulation amount for the Oscillator's 1 pitch. In
the center position there is no pitch modulation applied. When rotating the MOD 1 knob
to the right of the center, it increases the amount of the Filter Envelope's modulation applied
to the Oscillator 1 pitch, reaching the maximum amount when in fully clockwise position.
By rotating the MOD 1 knob to the left of the center, it increases the amount of Polyphonic
LFO modulation to Oscillator's 1 pitch, resulting to the maximum amount of modulation
when in fully counterclockwise position.
In order to achieve a classic vibrato modulation on the pitch, the Poly LFO max
modulation amount is set to ±1 octave. The Envelope on the other hand, can modulate
the pitch of the Oscillator at the maximum pitch, in order to create
sound effects.
MOD 2: It functions in the same manner as the MOD 1, but for the Oscillator's 2 pitch.
DETUNE: Sets the Detune amount of the pitch of the Oscillators. The Detune amount
maxes out at 1 semitone to achieve the classic detune effect between the Oscillators. The
DETUNE knob detunes only VCO 2 in Poly and Solo play mode, while detuning both
VCOs between the 8 voices when in Unison play mode.
DETUNE can be used in both Poly and Unison playing modes, in order to create
incredibly thick and wide chorus-like effects.
GLIDE: Sets the Glide (portamento) amount for both Oscillators. Glide causes the pitch of
a note to slide smoothly from the pitch of the previously played note, to the new note that is
pressed. This functionality is applied in all play modes.
