PLAY MODE
POLY: In Polyphonic mode Murmux will act as an 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer. Up to 8
voices can be played at the same time.
UNISON: In Unison mode Murmux will act as a monophonic synthesizer (one note can be
played at a time) but the 8 voices will be stacked into a single note.
SOLO: In Solo mode Murmux will act as a monophonic synthesizer, playing only 1 voice at a time.
LEGATO
Turns ON/OFF Legato. When Legato is on, new notes will not re-trigger the Envelopes. In
a note stack, only the first note will trigger the Envelopes.
In Poly mode, Legato will change the way the Envelopes work. Normally the Envelopes
will go from zero to max, when a note is pressed at a given time (Attack time) and then
from max to Sustain Level at a given time (Decay time), then stay at Sustain Level, till
the note is released back to zero at a given time (Release time). When Legato is enabled
the first note pressed will work normally. If a new note is pressed while the first is still
pressed, then the Envelope will go from zero to Sustain Level at the given time (Attack
time), skipping the decay stage and when the note is released will get back to zero at the
given time (Release time).
DRIVE
Drive will overdrive the Filter's input, will add more harmonics and will make the sound
more aggressive. Drive will be applied only when the resonance is present to compensate
the volume drop and to enrich the harmonics.
There are 3 Drive amounts to choose from: Low, Mid and High.
PRESET LEVEL
This parameter sets the Volume Level for the selected preset.
MODWHEEL
The ModWheel parameter allows the use of the modulation Wheel, in order to modulate any
of the knobs or sliders of the front panel. Once you select the ModWheel parameter,
"M.O.D." will be shown on the screen. Move any knob or slider in order to assign it to the
modulation Wheel. The modulation amount is set by the position of the knob or slider
assigned with values ranging from -99 to 99.
If you want to clear all the assigned parameters, press the Encoder again and "CLEAR" will
be shown on the screen. Press again and it will clear all the modulation targets.
