IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE SHORTWAVE EXAMPLE
BELOW:
When entering shortwave freqencies only, if the last digit(s) of the shortwave
frequency is "0", do not punch it in when doing direct frequency entry. Enter
only the numbers prior to the zero. For example, in the frequency 6.100 MHz,
punch in only the "6"and the "1". Or, for 9.450 MHz, punch in only 945.
SHORTWAVE STATION EXAMPLE:
in the shortwave 49 meter band (in SW1), press "entry", then press 5 9 7 5,
then press the "entry"button again.
HOW TO ACCESS A SHORTWAVE BAND
If you are not familiar with the term BAND, read the section titled, WHAT IS
A SHORTWAVE BAND, located later in this manual.
The band chart on the back of the YB300PE shows the frequency range for
each band. Since some radios show frequency in megahertz and some in

Le tableau des bandes au dos du poste YB300PE indique la gamme de fréquences de
