STEP 7 |
Use a 10mm socket to
remove the hardware securing the bottom
corners of the front bumpers to the
vehicle.
STEP 8 |
Gently pull the inner fender
to release the clips securing it to the
vehicle.
Be sure to pull directly away from the
vehicle to avoid breaking any of the clips.
STEP 9 |
Use a 10mm socket and 10"
extension to remove the bolts securing
the grille to the bumper.
This hardware is located directly behind
the grille, and in front of the radiator.
The bumper wiring harness connector is
difficult to access while the bumper is
on the vehicle. We recommend a helper
standby to hold the grille/bumper in
place, and disconnect the wiring harness
while someone slowly removes the grille/
bumper. (Seen in step 11)
Note: Bumper may become loose and fall
during this step. Assistance is recommended
to prevent injury and damage to the product or
vehicle.
