1-15. Removing and Reinstalling the Boards
1-15-2. IF-879 Board
1. Remove the top cover and front panel. (Refer to
Section 1-6.)
2. Disconnect the flexible card wires from the connectors
CN1S5 and CN19 on the PR-270/270A board.
Be careful not to bend the flexible card wires.
This shortens the wire life.
3. Disconnect the harnesses from the connectors CN2
and CN3 on the IF-879 board.
4. Disconnect the harnesses from the connectors CN2
and CN4 on the IF-884 board.
5. Remove the two screws, and remove the POWER
switch from the front frame assembly.
6. Remove the five screws, and pull out the front frame
assembly.

7. Remove the four screws and six nuts, and remove the
IF-879 board.
8. Disconnect the flexible card wire from the connector
CN1 on the IF-879 board.
Be careful not to bend the flexible card wires.
This shortens the wire life.

9. Reinstall the board in the reverse order of removal.
Reattach the POWER switch to the front frame
assembly so that its wires point downward.
