Sets the signal type of flowmeter B. For explanation of the settings see 9.1
SIGNAL A.
If the analog output is not used, select disable to minimize the power
consumption (e.g. save battery life-time).
Option AP: When a power supply is available but the output is disabled, a
3.5 mA signal will be generated.
Determines if the analog output transfers flow rate A, flow rate B or the
ratio as set in Setup 5.1.
Enter here the flow rate or ratio at which the output should generate the
minimum signal (0)4 mA or 0 V. The engineering units per time unit and the
number of decimals shown depend upon the settings in Menu 2 FLOW
RATE A, resp. Menu 4 FLOW RATE B, or Menu 5 RATIO.
Enter here the flow rate at which the output should generate the maximum
signal 20 mA or 10 V. The engineering units per time unit and the number
of decimals shown depend upon the settings in Menu 2 FLOW RATE A,
resp. Menu 4 FLOW RATE B, or Menu 5 RATIO.
A low flow cut-off, e.g. to ignore leakage, can be set as a percentage of the
full range of 16 mA, 20 mA or 10 V.
When the flow is less than the required rate, the current will be the
minimum signal (4 mA, 0 mA, 0 V). Example:
CUT-OFF
20 mA
%
2%
(100-0)*2% = 2.0 L/min
3.5%
(800-20)*3.5%= 27.3 L/min
The (0)4 mA or 0 V value can be tuned precisely with this setting. The
initial minimum analog output value is (0)4 mA or 0 V. However, this value
might differ slightly due to ambient influences such as temperature for
example.
Before tuning the signal, make sure that the analog signal is idle (not
used) for any application!
After pressing PROG, the current will be about 4 mA (0 mA or 0 V). The
current can be increased / decreased with the arrow keys and is directly
active. Press ENTER to store the new value.
If required, you can program the analog output 'up-side-down'. The (0)4
mA or 0 V then represents the maximum flow rate or ratio and the 20 mA
or 10 V represents the minimum flow rate or ratio.
The 20 mA or 10 V value can be tuned precisely with this setting. The initial
maximum analog output value is 20 mA or 10 V However, this value might
differ slightly due to ambient influences such as temperature for example.
