7. lift the appliance onto the watl m ounting plate . Engage
t he two support tabs into the slots in the back of the
appliance casing. Locate the three M6 studs and air duct
on the
wall mounting plate imo the back of the appliance
casing. Fasten the appliance
to
the wall mounting plate
with the t hree M6 nuts and washers previously removed .

Remove the fan and f lue hood ass~mbl y :
(a) Disconnectthe electrical connection to the f an at the plug-
in terminal strip.
(bl Ease the tlexible t ube i rom the Je1t-hand side of the fan
housing.
(c) Remove theM 5 screw holdingthe tan housing to the boiler
casmg.
ldl Slide the fan asssmbly out cf the boiler casing.
(c) Unscrew the two M4 wi ng n uts and washets one from
each side of the flue hood assembly. Ease the flue hood
assembly off t he heat exchanger and out of the boiler
cas!ng.

Unscrew the two M4 extension w ing bolts and remove
t he flue duct clamping ring tromthe flue duct housing.
9 . Ret air' the fan a!isembly and M 5 screw, M4 wing nuts and
washers, flue hood assembly , M 4 extension w ing bolts
and c l amping r ing. T ake care not to damage the
components.
10. Cut and assemble the Hue duct us follows:
(a 1 Reduce 11'1e length of the stondard flue duct 10 1004 mi"''
(39.5 in.). Cutsurplusfromplain end . Do not cut expanded
end . See Fig . 9 .
(bl Fully engage the shortened standard f!ue duct into the
expanded en
a
of the extension flue duct. Using t he two
holes in the expanded end as a guide . Drill two 3 rnm
diameter holes using the drill supplied . Disengage the flue
ducts.
lei Slide the flue clamping ring onto the standard flue duc t
and locate at the expanded end of the duct w ith the
cham fer against the expanded end. See Fig . 9 .
(d) Apply a smear of s ilicone sealant around the ou tside of
the standard flue duc t. Reassemble and secure with the
two seiHapping screw s supplied. See Fig . 9.
NOTE: The support sp id er is not re qui•ed and should be
discarded .

lbl Replace the f lue hood assembly. Ensure t he two M4 bolts
are correct ly located and secure w ith the two M4 wing
nuts and washers previously removed .
(c I Assemble the f lue d uct to the flue duct housing and fix
t ogether w ith the cla mping r ing and two M4 extension
wing bolts previous ly removed . See Figs. t3 or 15.
(d) Replace the fa n assembly and secure with t he M5 screw
previousl y remove d.

NOTE:
Use
the standard f lue assembly and the extension flue .
1 . Cut and assemblf! the air duct as follows:
(a) Measure me f lue length Land add 32 mm (1.25 in .). See
Fig . 14. This is the overall length of 11 0 mm (4. 5 in.

diameter air duct required.
(b) Do notreducethelength ofthe standa(dduct. See Fig. 11 .

the extension air duct by cutting from
the end without holes until the teqvired overall length after
e ngagement of the two ducts is obtained . See Fig . 11.
ldl Fully engage t he extension air duct into !he expanded end
of the standard air duct. Ensure t he overall length is correc t
and the two holes in the extension air duct are positioned
at the extreme end . See Fig . 1 1.
(el Using the two holes in the expanded end as a guide, drill
two 3 mm diameter holes using t he driH supplied .
Disengage the air ducts and apply a smear of silicone
sealant around the outsi af! of the extension duct .
Reassemble

NOTE: The flue terminal adl:lptor is not reQuired and must
be d iscarded .
Using the holes in the extension air duct as
a
guide drill
through the tlue terminal w ith the 3 mm drill supplied.
Secure the assemb1y together with the two No.6 x 1 0 mm
self tapping screws. See Fig . 1 1 and 12.
3. From the outside, ease the air duct and terminal assembly
through the hole prepared in the walL Ensure 1he air duct
engages in the hole in the wall mounting

e. It may be
necessary to align the hole in the walt mounting plate w ith
the hole in the clamping plate by adjustingthetwo socket
headed screws on the top edge of the wall mounting plate.
See Fig. 13.
4. From inside adjust the air duct until it project:; 1 2 mm
{0. 5 in.} ftom the front face of the wall mounting plate.
See Fig. 13.
5. Tighten the two screws on the top edge of the wall
mounting plate firmly to locate the air duct. See Fig. 1 3
and 14. Ensure the air duct is securely fixed in position and
the flue assembly is in a horizontal p lane. Make good
external brickwork or wall rendeting, the inside edge of
the rolled channel f ixed to the flue t erminal will p rotr ude
approximatl~:y
1 0 mm (0.4 in.) 1rotn the wall. See Fig. 13
and 14.
6 . Apply the silicone

in a bead approximately 6 mm
(0.25 in.) diameter around outside of the air d uct and in
contact w ith the wall mounting plate. See Fig. 13.
7. l-ift the appliance onto the W8l l mounting platB. Engage
t he two support tabs into the slots in the back of the
appliance casing . Locate t he three M6 studs and air duct
on the
wan
mounting plate into the back of t he appliance
casing . Fasten the appliance to t he wall mounting plate
w ith the three M6 nut sand washers previously remov e<!.

Remove the fan and flue hood assembly:
(a) Disconnect the electrical
conn ~tion
to the fan at t he plug-
in terminal strip .

Eas e the flexible tube from the left-hand side of the, fan
housing .
(c) Remove theM5screwholdingthetanhousir.g totheboiler
casing.
(d ] Slide the fan assembly out of the boiler casi ng.
/e) Unscrew the two M4 wing nuts and washers, one from
each side of the five hood assembly . Ease t he flue hood
assembly off the heat eltchanger and out of the boiler
casing.
tfl Unscrew the two M4 extension wing bolts and remove
the flue duct clomping ring from the flue duct housing.
