t he hole in the clamping pfate by adjusting the two socket
headed screws o n the t op edge of the wall mounting plate.

5. Tigh t en the two screws on the too edge

the wall

{e ) Unscrew the two M4 wing nuts and washers one from
each
s~de
of t he f lue hoo d assembly. Ease t he flue hood
assembly off the heat exchanger and out of the boiler
casing .

Unscrew the two M4 extension wing bolts and remove
the flue duct clamping ring 1rom the f lue duct housing.

1 1 . Fit the f lu e duct clamping ring and f lue duct and replace
t h e f an and flue hood assembly as follow s :-
(a) Slide t h e tlue duct clamping ring onto the f lue duct and ·
locate at t he expanded end
of
the duct with the chamfer
aga inst the expanded end . See Fig . 7.

bo~ts
are correctl y lo cated and secure w it h the two M4 w ing
nut s and washers previously removed .

together w it h t he clamping ring and two

fe) Replace t he fan assembly and sccurt: w i1h the MSscrew
previously removed.

1 . Cut and assemble the air duct as 1oll ows:-
(a)

(b) Reduce the lengt h of t he st andard air duct to 900 mm
(35.5in.}. Cut surplus f rom plain end . Donotc:utexpanded
end. See Fig. 9 .
(c l Reduce the length of th e extension air duct by cutting from
t he end w ithout holes until t he required over aU length after
engagement of t h e two d ucts is obtained. See Fig. 9.

Disengage the air ducts and apply a smear ot siticone
sea lant around t he o utside of tht: exten sion duct .
Reassemble and secu re with t he two self ·tapping screws
suppfied . See Fig . 9.

rolled stop channel.
NOTE: The flue t erminal adaptor is not required and must
be d iscarded.

the flue assembly is in a horizontal plane. Make go od
external brickwork or wall re nd ering, the ins ide edge
of
the rolled chan nel f i xed to t he flue te rminal will protrude
app roximatley 1 Omm (0.4 in .)fromthe wall.
