Lift
the appliance onto 1he wall mount ing plate. Engage
the two support ta bs into 1he slot s in t he back of the
appliance casing. Locete t he three
M6
studs and blanking
off cap on the wall mounting plate into the back of the
appli ance c asin g. Fasten t he app liance
to
the wa ll
mounting plate with tl'l e t hree M6 nuts and washers
previously removed.
3 . Remove the fan and f lue h ood assembly :

Disconnect the electrical connect ion to t he fan at th e plug
in t erminal strip .

Ease t he flexible tube f rom th e left hand side of t he f an
hou sing .
(cl Remove t he M 5screw holding t he fan housing to the boiler
casing ,
ldl Slrde the fan assembly o ut of the boiler casing .
{e ) Unsc rew t he two M4 wing nuts and w&shers. one from
each side of t he flue hood assembly. Ease the flue hood
assembly off t he heat exchanger and out of t he boiler
casing .

Unscrew the t wo M4 extension w ing bolts and remove
the flue duct clam ping ring from the t lue duct housing .
Retainthetanassemblyand M5 screw. M4w ingnutsand
washers, f lue hood assembly, M4 extension wing bolts
and c lamping r ing . T ake care

4. Cut and measure the air d uc t assembly as f ollows:

ln. ) u se t tte standard flue assembly. An ex tension flu e is
not required.

(b) Reduce t he standard air duct to t he required length. Cut
surplus f rom pi !lin end. Do not cut expanded end . See Fig.
16.

Fit the f lue terminal adaptor into t he expan ded end
of
the
air
duel .
Slide the flue t erm inal into the air duct up t o the
rolled stop channel. Using the ho les in the expanded en d
of the air duct as a guide, drill t hrough the adaptor and flue
terminal with the 3mm drill supplied. Secure the assembly
togetherwiththetwoNo . 6 x 10mmselftappingscrews .

Cut and ass emble t he f lue duct as f ollows:
(a)
Reduce the 60 mm (2.4 in.} diamet er standard f lue duct
toth e required length . The overall length of the st!lndard
llue duct for the installation will be L
+
260 mm (L

10.25 in.) .
(b)
Cut the surplus from the p lain end, do n ot cut the
expanded end. See Fig . 16.
(c) Slide the f lue clamping ring or:to t he f lu e duct and locate
at the expa nded
end

Assemble the flue duct Into t he air duct and engage the
end
of
t he flue du ct into the flue t erm inal . See Fig.
17 .
NOTE : The fl ue duc t should slide into the term inal
approximately 100mm (4.0in.) . See Fig. 17.

Rearrange the f lue duct housing position for s ide f lue
applicat ion . Aeplacetheflue hood assembly. Fit t he f lue
assembly
and
replace the tan assembly as fol lows: .
(a) Unsc rew the four
M 5
screws se curing the flue duct
housing onto the f lue ho od . Rearrange the flue outlet to
t he req uired s ide flu e posit ion . Replace t he four M5
screws.
(b ) Replace the flue hood assembly. Ensu re the t wo M 4 bolts
are correct ly located an d secure with the t wo M4 w ing
nut s and wa shers previously rem cved.

srnear of siticone sealant aroun d t he inside of the
air duct socket on the side of the bo iler.

From
the outside, ease the flueassembly t hrovghthehole
prepared in t h e wal l. Pass the flue duct dampi119 ring
t h rough the air duct socket as shown in Fig . 2.3 . Fully
engage the air duct into t he socket on t he side of the boiler.
Tight en the clamping screw . See Fig.
22.
(e} A ssemble the f lue duct to th e flue duct housing and f ix
toget her w ith t he clamp ing ring and the two M4extension
wi ng bolts previously removed. See Fig .
15.
lfl Make good external brick work or wall rendering . The
inside edge of the rolled channel f ixed to t he flue terminal
will prot rude appr oximately l Omm (0 .4in.) from the wall .
M ake good int ern al brick w ork or wall finish . Ensure t he
flue assem bly is in a ho rizo ntal plain.

Replace the fan assembly and secure with t he M4 screw
previous ly removed.
lhl Rep!acettte f lexibletubeto the connecti on at the left hand
s id e o r the fan housing.
(i) Reconnect t he electrical con nect ion to t he fan at t he plug -
in t ermina l strip.
8 . Remov e t he knock out area in the c abinet side p<m el to fit
over the air duct. Remove any sharp edges.
9 . Replace the cabinet side panel. Locate the bottom keybole
slot over the M5screw and t ig hten . To engage panelit will
need to be t ilted t o allow engagement o nto the bottom
screw. Screw theM 5 captive ext ension screw at t he t op
inside edge of the side panel t o the rear of t he appliance.
10. Fi t theM 5 hexagon he L)ded screw previou sly ret ained to
the f ront inside edge of each side panel and locate it t o the
electric al cont rol p anel.
11 . Complete the remainder of the in stallation as detailed in
Section 8. paragraph 15 onwards .
