FAULTS: CAUSES & SOLUTIONS
Problem
The device will not switch on
The device does not want to vacuum •
The device makes noise but does not
vacuum
After vacuuming, air enters the
vacuum bag again (after some time).
WASTE & RECYCLING
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste
throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle the device responsibly to promote the sustainable
reuse of materials. Please return the used device via the return and collection facilities or
contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product. This can take the product and
recycle it in an environmentally friendly way.

Possible cause & solution
Check whether the plug is plugged into the socket.
Check whether the power cable or plug is damaged.
Check whether the socket is working.
Make sure the lid is closed correctly and completely.
Check that the bag is inserted correctly.
Allow the machine to cool down for at least 40 seconds
if you have vacuumed recently.
Check whether the vacuum opening is covered by the
vacuum bag. Pull the bag back slightly.
Check whether the vacuum opening is clogged with
food residue.
Check whether air is being sucked in through the
vacuum opening by pressing the vacuum accessories
button (part H, page 5).
Check the bag for damage/ leakage
Check the seal/ weld of the bag for damage or
imperfections. The seal should be transparent and free
of irregularities. If the inside of the bag was wet during
welding, it is better to use the Food > Moist setting or
dry the inside of the bag.
Some products (e.g. fruit) degas under vacuum, causing
the bag to fill with gas.
The food has spoiled or fermented and may no longer
be suitable for consumption.
