1. Lid locks: these keep the lid locked during vacuuming. Press the lid to close it. You will
hear a click on each side when the lid is locked. Never store the device with the lid locked.
This will irreparably damage the seals.
2. Control panel: allows you to operate the device quickly and easily.
3. Lid: easy to clean with a damp cloth. Do not use running water!
4. Bottom: easy to clean with a damp cloth. Do not use running water!
5. Seal rubber: this rubber strip ensures that the weld seam becomes smooth and flat and
presses on the seal strip (11).
6. Vacuum chamber seal: this seal ensures that a vacuum can be built up. If the seal is damaged
the machine may not work properly. In that case, please contact your seller or manufacturer.
7. Vacuum chamber: this is where the vacuum is created (within the surrounding seal). The
open end of the bag must be in this chamber for proper machine operation. Forms an
airtight unit with the chamber in the bottom of the appliance when the lid is closed and
locked.
8. Safety switch: prevents the device from being used when the lid is open.
9. Vacuum chamber seal: this seal ensures that a vacuum can be built up. If the seal is damaged
the machine may not work properly. In that case, please contact your seller or manufacturer.
10. Air inlet: the air is sucked out of the vacuum chamber through this opening. This inlet must
not suck in moisture; this may damage the pump and is not covered by the warranty.
Contamination of this port with food residues can lead to malfunctions or malfunction of the
device. Repair (cleaning) of this inlet is not covered by the warranty.
11. Seal strip: underneath this Teflon strip is a metal strip of 2.5 mm wide that becomes hot and
seals the bag closed. Please note: this strip becomes very hot during sealing and can cause
burns if you touch it after opening the lid.

12. Vacuum chamber: this is where the vacuum is created (within the surrounding seal). The
open end of the bag must be in this chamber for proper machine operation. Forms an
airtight unit with the chamber in the lid of the device when the lid is closed and locked.
