• Loosen lock nut 6
• Rotate limit screw 5 to change the milling depth (un-
screwing limit screw 5 increases the milling depth)
• Tighten lock nut 6
• To achieve the maximum possible milling depth,
turn stepped stop 7 to the "max" position (the notch
on stepped stop 7 is between positions "0" and "20")
After setting the milling depth, it is recom-
mended to make a few test keyways to
make sure the setting is correct
General recommendations for operation (see
fig. 7-13)
• For joining workpieces with dowels, it is recom-
mended to use the largest dowels that can fit into the
workpieces
• Set the necessary milling depth as described above
• Lay out the workpieces on a flat surface in the order
of the subsequent assembly
• Mark the centers of the dowels as shown in fig-
ure 72 Recommended distances:
• from the workpiece edge to the center of the dow-
el it is 50-75 mm;
• between dowels it is 150-250 mm
• Secure the workpieces
• If necessary, adjust the tilt angle and the lift height of
angle / height stop 9
• Place the power tool on the workpiece so
that mark 8 is at the center of the prospective
keyway
• Holding the power tool by auxiliary handle 3, turn
it on and move the body forward Do not move the
power tool sideways or upward, you will damage the
workpiece
• Hold the power tool by auxiliary handle 3, turn it off
and return the body to its original position
• Figures 8-13 show different types of dowel connec-
tions and how keyways can be milled to fit them. In
any case, it is advised to make a test milling on waste
pieces of material, then assemble them "dry" to make
sure that all settings are correct, and only then start
working with the workpieces
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.
