14. Sub Audio Deviation <LTR>
Note: The "TX VCO Tune Voltage", "Max Deviation" and "Modulation Balance" must be done before this alignment is
started.
Set the transceiver to CH1 (band center, wide devia-
tion) via the "Channel" box on the "Alignment" win-
dow.
Click the left mouse button on the "LTR Deviation"
button.
Click the left mouse button on the "Start" button.
Move the Slide Bar, as needed as, until the deviation
meter reading is 0.9 kHz ± 0.1 kHz.
Press the "OK" button on the window, the value of the
alignment for LTR Deviation (Wide Deviation) will be
saved in the radio.

Set the transceiver to CH 2 (band center, narrow de-
viation) via the "Channel" box on the "Alignment"
window.
Click the left mouse button on the "Start" button.
Move the Slide Bar, as needed as, until the deviation
meter reading is 0.6 kHz ± 0.1 kHz.
Press the "OK" button on the window, the value of the
alignment for LTR Deviation (Narrow Deviation) will
be saved in the radio.
