Installation

The hob is designed for installation in standard
kitchen units.
Before installation, make a note of the serial number,
which you will find on the rating label (hob base).

The installation and the connection to the
main power may only be performed by an
authorized specialist.

Risk of cutting injuries!
Beware of cutting edges on the appliance.
Recommendation, wear protective gloves when
installing / transporting the appliance to avoid
injury from possible sharp edges.

CAUTION:
• The worktop, the cabinet, veneers, plastic coat-
ings, used adhesives etc. must be sufficient heat-
resistant (min. 100°C).
• Do not mount the hob above cooling equipment,
dishwashers and tumble dryers.
Safety distances
CAUTION:
Make sure that adequate air circulations ensured,
and the ventilation slots are not blocked. Follow ap-
propriate safety distances!
• The appliance must be installed so that heat can
be dissipated. The ventilation openings must not
be blocked
• The distance between the hob and the cooker
hood must be at least as large as specified in the
installation instructions for the hood. If the hood
manufacturer's instructions are missing or if highly
flammable materials (e.g. wall cupboard) are in-
stalled above the appliance, keep to the safety
distance shown.
• A minimum distance must be left below the cut-
out. No heat-sensitive objects (base unit, drawer,
etc.) may be located in this area. Any existing
side panels or drawers must be sawn out or re-
moved accordingly.
