Preparing the worktop for installation
CAUTION:
Before sawing, tape the outer edge of the cut-out
with wide tape to avoid marks from the jigsaw on the
worktop.
• The hob can be installed on a worktop with a
thickness of between min. 30 mm and max.
40 mm, it must be horizontal and sealed on the
wall side against overflowing liquids or moisture.
• The hob must be surrounded by at least 50 mm of
worktop and run parallel to the front edge of the
worktop.
• The cut surfaces (cut-out edges) must be sealed
with special lacquer, silicone rubber or casting
resin to prevent swelling due to moisture.
• The worktop in the area of the cut-out must be
thoroughly clean and dry!

Prepare the cut-out of the worktop according to the
dimensional drawing.

Installing the hob
CAUTION:
First place the front of the hob on a padded surface
to prevent damage.
Step 1: Apply sealing tape
• Do not use silicone! Attach the seal to the under-
side of the hob frame, leaving a gap of approx.'3
mm from the edge of the glass.
• Apply the seal around the entire circumference
and cut off any excess material. Bring the two
ends of the seal together so that they fit snugly.
Step 2: Fasten the retaining clips
Secure the hob with a total of 5 retaining clips to pre-
vent it from slipping.

• Fasten the clips (1) to the holes (2) provided on
the hob using the screws (3).
Step 3: Inserting the hob
Make sure that the distances to the cut-out are the
same on all four sides and that the seal rests on the
X
worktop.

Before installing the hob,
attach the enclosed,
self-adhesive sealing
tape (5) to the underside
of the hob frame.
