Function

Warnings!

using this product.
• Before adding equipment to this product, ensure this product has been properly
mounted.
• Never operate this product if parts are missing or damaged.
• Ensure the weight of the equipment does not exceed the weight capacity of this product.
If the weight capacity is exceeded, personal injury or damage to the equipment is
possible. This product can support the following weight: 44 lb (20 kg).
Installation
1. Find a suitable location on the Server Rack to mount the Shelf. The Shelf requires
1U of Mounting Space.
2. Install the M6 Cage Nuts (x 4) into the Mounting Holes (x 4) on the Mounting
Posts of the Server Rack. If available, use a Cage Nut Tool or your preferred
installation method to install the Cage Nuts.
Note: Skip this step if the rack has M6 threaded holes. The M6 Screws can be installed
without the M6 Cage Nuts.
Use the manufacturer-recommended Screws for the Server Rack if they differ from M6.
3. Place the Shelf onto the Server Rack. Ensure the Mounting Holes on the Front
Posts are Aligned with the Mounting Holes of the Front Mounting Brackets.
4. Insert the M6 Screws (x 4) through the Plastic Washers, Front Mounting Brackets,
and into the Mounting Posts of the Server Rack. Tighten the M6 Screws (x 4) using
a Phillips Head Screwdriver.
Note: Ensure the Shelf is secure before placing Server Rack Equipment.
