Jumper Settings

Explanation of
Jumpers
To modify the operation of the moth-
erboard, jumpers can be used to
choose between optional settings.
Jumpers create shorts between two
pins to change the function of the
connector. Pin 1 is identified with a
square solder pad on the printed cir-
cuit board.
See the motherboard
layout pages for jumper locations.

Front Side Bus Speed

Use JP12 to change the FSB
speed. See Table 2-17 for jumper
settings. Also see the CPU Speed
setting on page 4-9 and the CPU
Clock Frequency setting on page
4-11. The CPU Speed setting will
show you the actual CPU speed
for each FSB speed option se-
lected. The CPU Clock Frequency
setting will show you additional
FSB speed options.
