Chapter 4: BIOS
Processor Serial Number
Intel included a serial number in their Pentium III processors as a unique system
identifier. For privacy reasons, you can disable this setting to prevent the release
of this identifier. The settings for this option are Enabled or Disabled .

These options specify how the 32 KB of video ROM at C0000h (or
D0000h) is treated.
The settings are: Disabled , Enabled or Cached/WP .
When set to Disabled, the contents of the video ROM are not copied to
RAM. When set to Enabled, the contents of the video ROM area from
C0000h-C7FFFh (or D0000h-D7FFFh) are copied (shadowed) from ROM to
RAM for faster execution. When set to Cached/WP , the contents of the
video ROM area from C0000h-C7FFFh (or D0000h-D7FFFh) are copied
from ROM to RAM, and can be written to or read from cache memory.

Advanced Chipset Setup

USB Function
The settings for this option are Enabled or Disabled . Set this option to
Enabled to enable the USB (Universal Serial Bus) functions.
USB KB/Mouse Legacy Support
The settings for this option are Keyboard, Auto, Keyboard+Mouse or Dis-
abled .
CPU Speed
This option allows you to change the CPU speed. The first number
shows the CPU Core/Bus ratio and the following two list the resulting
CPU speeds at 133 and 100 MHz front side bus speeds, respectively .
Rambus Channel Frequency
This option determines the Rambus bus speed. Settings are 400 MHz
and 356 MHz .
