PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
Output pressure sensor failure.
(The sump pressure sensor is operating
normally and the clutch is engaging
and disengaging.)
Sump pressure sensor failure.
(The output pressure sensor is operating
normally and the clutch is engaging
and disengaging.)
Oil temperature too hot.
Oil temperature sensor failure.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely, contact your
Lincoln Authorized Service Facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

POSSIBLE
CAUSE
1. The output pressure sensor is not providing a
signal.
1. The sump pressure sensor is not providing a
signal.
1. Check for proper oil level.
2. Verify moisture is not present in the oil.
3. Verify the oil cooler is not clogged or damaged.
4. Verify compressor coolant level.
1. The temperature sensor reading is out of
bounds, or is not changing as the compressor
operates.

RECOMMENDED
COURSE OF ACTION
6. Debris blocking internal orifice,
reducing N.C. proportional valve
output. An attempt to clean/dislodge
by energizing N.O blowdown coil
(smaller coil) with 12V, and energize
N.C. proportional valve coil with
800mA @12VDC, and blow 100psi
through the OUTLET side of the of
the combination valve manifold.
1. Check the harness for loose
connections.
2. At 0 psi, the voltage at pins B and
C is 0.5 VDC. At 150 psi, the
voltage at pins B and C is 2.5VDC.

connections.
2. At 0 psi, the voltage at pins B and
C is 0.5 VDC. At 150 psi, the
voltage at pins B and C is 2.5VDC.
If all recommended possible areas of
misadjustment have been checked and
the problem persists, Contact your local
Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility.
1. Check the harness for loose
connections.
2. -30°C = 435.48Ω
3. -10°C = 480.43Ω
4. 0°C = 500.00Ω
5. 80°C = 654.47Ω
6. 120°C = 730.31Ω
