At the factory, each transmitter is submitted to a temperature cycle process, and the characteristics under different pressures and temperatures are recorded in the transmitter memory.

Many types of Fieldbus devices may be connected on the same bus. The LD302 is powered via the bus. The limit for such devices is 16 for one bus for non-intrinsically safe requirement. In hazardous area, the number of devices may be limited by intrinsically safe restrictions.

Section 2 OPERATION The LD302 Series Pressure Transmitters use capacitive sensors (capacitive cells) as pressure sensing elements, as shown in Figure 2.1. This is the same sensor that is used in the LD301 series, the sensor modules are therefore interchangeable.

Maintenance Procedures To remove the sensor from the electronic housing, the electrical connections (in the field terminal side) and the main board connector must be disconnected. Loosen the hex screw (20) and carefully unscrew the electronic housing from the sensor, observing that the flat cable is not excessively twisted.
