Switch Plug Settings
1. Navigate to Menu > System > Plug.
WARNING: Do not remove or insert C-Plug during the operation. C-Plug may be removed or inserted only
when device is turned off. The device checks whether or not C-plug is present at one second intervals. If it
is detected that the PLUG was removed, then it restarts.
Status – shows the status of the PLUG:
ACCEPTED with valid configuration of the device
NOT ACCEPTED – for invalid or incompatible configuration
NOT Present – no C-Plug inserted on the device
FACTORY – plug is inserted but there is no configuration
Device Group – shows the SIMATIC NET product line that used the C-PLUG previously.
Device Type - shows the device type that used the C-PLUG previously.
Configuration Revision – can change if the firmware is updated, but not related to the device
hardware configuration.
File System, File System Size in bytes, and File System Usage in bytes.
Info String shows additional info and the versions of hardware and software.
Modify PLUG – the drop-down list:
1. Write Current configuration to the PLUG, if the status of the PLUG is NOT ACCEPTED or
FACTORY.
2. Erase PLUG to factory default.
