Read the safety warnings, instruc-
tions, illustrations and specifica-
tions provided with this power tool.
Failure to follow all instructions
may cause electric shock, fire, and/
or serious personal injury.
Save the warnings and instructions for fu-
ture reference.
Safety at the workplace
– Keep the workplace clean and proper-
ly lit. Clutter and poor lighting can lead
to accidents.
– Do not use the power tool in an explo-
sive environment, near flammable liq-
uids, gasses or dust. Power tools cre-
ate sparks that can ignite dust or fumes.
– Do not allow children and strangers to
the place of operation of the electric
tool. Lack of attention can lead to loss
of control over the power tool.
Electrical safety
– When working with an electric tool, do
not touch grounded surfaces: pipes,
radiators, electric stoves and refrig-
erators. There is a high risk of electric
shock if the body is grounded.
– Do not expose the power tool to rain or
moisture. When moisture gets into the
power tool, the risk of electric shock is
increased.
– Be careful with the power cord of the
charger. Never move the power tool by
the power cord. Do not pull the char-
ger out of the socket by the cord. Avoid
contact of the power cord with any-
thing that could cause damage: heat,
oil, grease, sharp edges or moving ob-
4
jects. Electric shock is possible if the
charger's power cord is twisted or
damaged.
Personal safety
– Be careful and watch your actions when
working with a power tool. Do not use
a power tool if you are tired or if you
have taken drugs, alcohol or medica-
tion the day before. The slightest inat-
tention can lead to injury.
– Use personal protective equipment. Be
sure to wear safety glasses. Using per-
sonal protection decreases the risk of
injury. In appropriate conditions, wear
respirators, non-slip safe¬ty shoes, a
hard hat and hearing protection.
– Be prepared for an unexpected start of
the power tool. The switch must be in
the off po¬sition or locked when lift-
ing, carrying, or con¬necting the pow-
er tool to the battery. Do not keep your
finger on the switch when carrying the
power tool. Do not connect it to the
battery if the switch is on.
– Before turning on the power tool, re-
move any adjustment keys from the
moving part. A key left on a moving part
can cause injury.
– Maintain stability and balance during
work. This way you will control the
power tool more reliably, in particular
in unpredictable situations.
– Keep hair, clothing and jewelry away
from moving parts of the power tool.
The moving parts of the power tool can
catch loose clothing, jewelry, and hair.
Fasten all fastening elements of work
clothes.
– If there are means for connecting suc-
tion or dust collection devices, connect
and use these devices correctly. The
use of such devices reduces the risks
associated with the presence of dust.
– Do not allow excessive self-confidence
that arises from frequent use of tools.
Self-confidence causes a careless at-
titude toward the implementation of
safety principles, even ignoring them.
Any carelessness when working with
the tool can lead to serious injury in a
fraction of a second.
