1. GENERAL POWER TOOL
SAFETY WARNINGS
WARN ING!
Read all safety warnings, instruc-
tions, illustrations and specifica-
tions provided with this power tool.
Failure to follow all the instructions
below may result in electric shock,
fire, and/or serious personal injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for fu-
ture reference.
The term "electric power tool", "pow-
er tool" or "power machine" in these
warnings refers to your network-operat-
ed electric power tool or an accumula-
tor-operated (cordless) power tool.
Safety at the workplace
– Keep the workplace clean and properly
lit. Disorder and poor lighting can lead
to accidents.
– Do not use the electric power tool in
an explosive environment, such as near
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Elec-
tric power tools generate sparks that
can ignite dust or fumes.
– Do not allow children and unauthorized
persons to be present at the place of
the electric machine operation. You
may lose control over the power tool
due to distraction.
Electrical safety
– When working with a power tool, do
not touch grounded surfaces such as
pipes, radiators, electric stoves and re-
frigerators. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if your body is grounded.
– Do not expose power tools to rain or
moisture. When water gets into an
electric tool, the risk of electric shock
increases.

Personal safety
– Be careful, watch your actions and use
common sense when working with
power tools. Do not use a power tool
if you are tired or under the effect of
drugs, alcohol or medication. Even the
slightest inattention when operating a
power tool can result in serious injury.
– Use personal protective equipment. Be
sure to use safety glasses. Using appro-
priate protective equipment, such as
respirators, non-slip safety shoes, and a
helmet or hearing protection, reduces
the likelihood of injury.
– Take precautionary measures in case of
unexpected start-up. Before connect-
ing to the accumulator, when lifting
or carrying the power tool, the switch
must be in the off position. Do not keep
your finger on the switch when carrying
the power tool and do not connect it to
the accumulator while the switch is on.
– Remove any adjustment key before
turning on the power tool. A key left on
a rotating part can cause injury.
– Maintain stability and balance during
work. This will be a guarantee of reli-
able control of the power tool, in par-
ticular in unpredictable situations.
– Do not wear loose clothing or jewel-
ry while working. Keep hair and cloth-
ing away from moving parts of the pow-
er tool. Loose clothing, jewelry or long
hair can be caught in moving parts of
the power tool.
– If means are available for connecting
suction or dust collection devices, con-
nect and use these devices correct-
ly. The use of such devices reduces the
risks associated with the presence of
dust.
– Do not allow excessive self-confidence
that arises from regular use of power
tools. Self-confidence causes a careless
attitude to the implementation of safe-
ty principles and even ignoring them.
Any carelessness when operating a
power tool can result in serious injury in
a matter of seconds.
