SAFETY INFORMATION RELATED TO HEALTH AND HYGIENE

The EHPN humidifier features:
• Automatic draining for inactivity;
• Periodic automatic cleaning;
• ManualdisinfectionofthenetworkandAHU;
Humidificationsystemswithlowmaintenancelevelscanharmhealth.Ifmaintenanceisinsufficient,pathogenicgermsmay
build up in the air duct and affect the air quality.
Inadequate use and/or poor maintenance of the humidifier can damage your health.
BIOLOGICAL RISK
• Intheeventofimproperuseandinstallation,microorganisms(includingthebacteriathatcauseLegionellosis)may
proliferate and be transferred into the air treatment system after the humidifier has been shut down for a long time.
• Intheeventofpoormaintenance/cleaningafterthehumidifierhasbeenshut-downforalongtime,microorganisms
(including the bacteria that cause Legionellosis) may proliferate and be transferred into the air treatment system.
• Thehumidifiermustbeusedproperlyandbemaintainedandcleanedproperlyatprescribedintervals,asdescribedinthe
MAINTENANCE chapter.
