9.2.2 Operating instructions

To start the humidifier (with humidistat or sensor connected):
• Checkthepumpunitpowersupply
• Checktheelectricalconnectionbetweenthecontrolunitanddistributionrack
• Checkthatthetightening torques of the electrical connections comply with the local regulations
•  C heckthefillinganddrainnetwork(seesections:"5.3 INSTALLING THE PLUMBING" ON PAGE 33,
"5.4 WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM" ON PAGE 34 and "5.5 DISTRIBUTION IN THE AHU" ON PAGE 35);
• Checktheproductioncapacityofthereverseosmosissystem
• Makesuretheosmosiswaterproductionsystemisworking
•  M akesurethewatersupplypipesbeforethepumpunithavebeensuitablypurgedandcleanedofanyremnants/
evidenceofworkonthesystem
• Checkthewaterconnectionsbetweentheosmosiswaterproductionsystemandthecontrolunit
•  C heckthewaterconnectionwithapipesuitableforhighpressure(atleast150bar)betweenthecontrolunitand
thedistributionrack
• Connect the humidistat or sensor as required (SEE "6.6 CONFIGURATIONS" ON PAGE 49);
• Makesurethereisacontrolsignalontherackcontrolunit
• Fitthepowerfuses;
•   C heckthattheCV
•  R eplacetheredcapwiththeyellowcap.Thecapmustbereplacedbeforethehumidifiercanbeused.When
startingupthemachine,thedisplaywillpromptyoutoconfirmthatthecaphasbeenreplaced;
• Closethepumpunitanddistributionrack;
• Activatetheisolatorinstalledoutsidethehumidifierandopenthewatersupplysource;
• PresstheON/OFFbuttonon the user interfacetostartthehumidifier;
• Set the electrical conductivity of the incoming water (if you do not have the electrical conductivity value of the
water,itcanbeobtainedfromthewebsiteofthedrinkingwatersupplier);
•  M akesuretheentiresystemisworkingproperlyinaccordancewiththeinstructionsintheoperatingand
maintenancemanual,andthattheexternalregulationisworkingcorrectly
• Set the humidity setpoint SPto100%;
NOTE:WiththeexceptionofsituationswherethesystemneedstobeinstalledbytheSupportCentre,whichwillcarryout

the startup procedure.
NOTE:ForVDI6022-1compliance,connectiontoventilationconsentismandatory.IncaseoflackofventilationintheAHU,

the humidifier must be in the STOP state.
