1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 Description The KT series is a range of immersed electrode humidifiers by ELSTEAM. The humidifiers in the KT series generate humidity (steam) when a current is applied to two or more electrodes immersed in tap water,causingthewatertoboil. Thesteamiscontrolledbymodulatingtheintensityofthecurrenttransferredtothewaterbytheimmersedelectrodes,soby indirectly controlling the boiling water. -

MALFUNCTIONING OF THE EQUIPMENT • Do not use softened water. • Oncethehumidifierhasbeeninstalled,flushthepipeswiththeremainingwatertopreventblockingthefilter. • Checkallthepartsofthehumidifierareintact. • Ifevenonepartofthehumidifierisdamaged,suspendinstallation. 5.3 Water discharge system Asthishumidifierhasanautomaticboilercleaningfunction,thewateroutletmusthaveacapacityofatleast10litresinafew seconds (maximum 1 l/s).
