・ Please note that scanning the following types of documents may cause paper jams
or malfunc ons. To scan these types of documents, you can copy the documents
first and then scan the copies.
Wrinkled or creased documents
Curly documents
Torn documents
Documents with paper clips or
staples
Documents with excessive dust or
paper scraps
Capacity of the document feeder
A maximum of 100 pages of 70g paper (A4 with horizontal paper placement) or a
maximum height of 10mm (Maximum value).
Remark: Placement of A3 size paper is supported for the A3 model (a maximum of 50
sheets).
Important
When placing documents into the paper feed tray, do not exceed the maximum capacity
value; otherwise, there may be paper jams.
How to place the documents
・ Confirm whether the paper feed tray extension
board A/ B and the paper output tray extension
board A/ B need to be pulled out according to the
length of the document, and flip the paper stop
board open.
・ Face the document down as shown in the figure and
place it into the paper feed tray.
