Solar So, hello! This manual provides commissioning information about eHome Solar which has been designed and tested to allow electric vehicle charging according to IEC 61851-1:2017. This document has different sections such as step-by-step installation procedure and technical data.
• Use only CIRCUTOR supplied spare parts. specified in IEC 61851. • Do not modify this device. If modified, CIRCUTOR • Do not use this product if the enclosure or the will reject all responsibility and the warranty will EV connector is broken, cracked, open, or shows be void.
Solar B Electrical wiring considerations Take into consideration this section before start wiring connections of the Charge Point. 1 . - E L E C T R I C A L P R O T E C T I O N S The Charge Point may not include elements of electrical protection.
S H O R T D E S C R I P T I O N eHome Solar is specially designed to be easily installed both in outdoor and indoor private parking lots, in order to charge all EV models on the market in MODE 3 (according to the European standard IEC 61851-1), by simply connecting its cable with a Type 1 or Type 2 connector.

Solar Installation Material: Screws, sealing washers and plastic anchors are not included. The installation kit has been tested on a concrete wall. For the unit to be securely fixed in such conditions, it is recommended to use: 3 x Inox A2 wall screws: Ø3x45...
Solar A Space Requirement When installing the unit, some space shall be reserved for usability, maintenance and safety reasons. Please comply accordingly to your country specifications. The next picture shows the recommended minimum distances: Min. 600 / Max. 1200...
Solar B Opening the Unit 1.- Remove the screw at the bottom of the box. 2.- Using a screwdriver, put it into the indicated marks, at the bottom of the box, and start removing the frame doing click at the bottom.

Solar 3.- Grabbing the frame with the hand by the lower part, pull and take it off totally, from the bottom to the top. To make it easier help yourself with the screwdriver while pulling the frame off. 4.- Remove the six screws of the front part by using a screwdriver and take out the front part of the enclosure.
Solar C Power Cable Insertion There are two possibilities to insert the electric wires: 1) Breaking out the cable insertion opening on the rear of the housing. 2) Using the cable insertion opening at the bottom of the housing.
Page 19
Solar Be careful of not damaging any of the internal components when breaking out the rear cable insertion opening. The data cable could be installed using the same pipe used for the power supply. In this case, it is recommended to use FTP Cat5e or S/ FTP Cat 5e.
Solar D Positioning Make holes for fastener screws. Tap drill M6 Min. 600 / Max. 1200 Measures in mm Front view 1.- Mark 3 holes taking into account the picture measurements (also written on the rear face of the box).
Solar E Fixing 1.- Use a screwdriver to fix the Charge Point on the wall (recommended screw dimensions: 3x45mm). 2.- Use only the Charge Point holes indicated in the above picture to fix the Charge Point on the wall.
The DC fault current is measured by a dedicated device installed in the eHome Solar which ensures the disconnection of the supply in case of DC fault current above 6 mA, for this reason just a Type A RCD upstream the Charge Point is required.
Solar G Wiring Perform the 230V ~ single-phase connections using the quick connection terminal. To do this, the cable with the ferrule must be inserted inside the terminal block. This will automatically pinch the cable thus preventing it from being disconnected.
Dip-Switch, the equipment will limit the current to a certain maximum amperage value. To limit the power of the eHome Solar, the table on the next page must be followed: The Dip-Switch is set to position 0 by default. This must be changed during commissioning for correct operation of the device.

Solar I Genion One Genion One is a device that allows the use of energy from photovoltaic panels. It has three charging modes: • Just Green Mode: this mode makes the charging of the vehicle just by using solar surplus.
Solar J Data Modbus RS-485 Connection Perform the Modbus RS485 data connection in the terminal shown in the picture below. Note: The Modbus RS485 provide the following terminals (A+, B-, 0). Do not forget to connect the ground cable (0 Terminal) and link to its corresponding earth terminal.
Solar K Closing the Charge Point Screw the 6 bolts from the front cover in order to close the Charge Point. Screws are securely tightened at 1 Nm. Be aware of the cables between the cover and the base while closing the Charge Point.
Solar L Verification 1 . - P O W E R I N P U T Before proceeding, make sure voltage is present in the terminal blocks. 2 . - C A R E F U L W I T H T H E W I R E S Before closing the unit, keep in mind all cables should remain inside.
