Quick Install Steps

Q U I C K N E T W O R K
1. Install Network Interface Card in printer (if not already
installed). Details are supplied in the installation kit of
the Network Interface Card.
2. Connect appropriate cabling from printer to network.
Details are in this document in the section entitled
Appendix B - Network Cable Connection.
3. Print the Print Settings page. Details are in this
document in Appendix A - Print The Print Settings
Page.
4. Check the Print Settings page and verify that both
TCP/IP protocol and proper connector are enabled on
the printer.
5. Create a new printer to load print drivers. Details for
this are found in the DocuPrint C55/C55mp
Technical Information Guide .
6. Create a printer share and its access permissions
(sharing and connecting).
7. Start LPRPORTD/LPRMON, ping printer, open EPM
and send a print job to the printer.
