Warning Methods
With the engine on, select 'User Settings
from the Settings menu in the cluster
Warning Volume' from the Settings menu
in the infotainment system to change the
Warning Volume.
With the engine on, Select 'User Settings
from the Settings menu in the cluster or
Warning' from the Settings menu in the
infotainment system to activate steering
wheel vibration. (if equipped)
If 'Driving Safety Priority' is selected from
the Settings menu in the infotainment
system, the vehicle lowers all other audio
volumes when the warning sounds.

The setting of the Warning Timing
applies to all functions of Forward
Collision- Avoidance Assist.
Even though, 'Normal' is selected for
Warning Timing if the front vehicle
suddenly stops, the initial warning
activation time may not seem late.
Select 'Late' for Warning Timing
when traffic is light and when driving
speed is slow.

If you change the Warning Methods,
Warning Methods of other Driver
Assistance systems may change.
If the engine is restarted, Warning
Methods will maintain the last setting.
There may be no Settings menu
depending on the feature applied to
your vehicle.
Even though '0' or 'Off' is selected for

Warning Volume, Warning Volume will
not be turned off but Warning Volume
will sound as '1' or 'Low'.
When 'Haptic Waning' is deselected
while Warning Volume is selected as '0'
or 'Off', Warning Volume will activate
and be selected as '2' or 'Medium'.
When Warning Volume is selected as
'0' or 'Off' while 'Haptic Warning' is
deselected, steering wheel vibration will
activate.
Depending on the region and
infotainment system software update,
the Settings menu may be displayed
as 'Warning Sound and Haptic' or
'Warning Methods'.
