TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
1. Grill won't light when the
the rotary ignitor is turned

Burner flame is yellow or
orange and a gas odor is

Low heat with knob on
"HIGH".
4. Low heat on one burner
5. Optional rotisserie will
not light with the ignitor
but can be lighted with
a match.

PROBABLE CAUSE
1A. Remove the grill rack
and the flavor generator
plates. Watch the ignitor 2A Check the other burners
tip. You should see a
spark jump from the
tip of the ignitor when
the knob is turned.
1B. Plugged orifice at the
ignitor.
2A. Check the burner inlet
for obstructions.
2B. Check the air shutter for

CORRECTION
1A. Check spark lead from the
sparker to the electrode.

clean and free from debris

clear ports.
2A. Clean the gas inlet.

for burner adjustments.

Check the manual shutoff

Check check- valve (turn
all burners off, turn the
manual shut-off vale to
off on the gas supply.Dis-
connect the quick discon-
nector to relieve the
pressure. Reconnect and
turn on the gas supply.
4A.Check and clean orifice.
4B. Check air / gas adjustment
4C. Remove burner and clean
ports.
5A. Check sparker
6A. Readjust to lay flat
