Installing the PTT/Volume Keypad
Equipment Required: None.
Preparation: Check slot for dirt and debris.
1. Align PTT/Volume Keypad with its respective slot in the Front Housing after the Main/Keypad
Board Assembly is installed (see Figure 7-16).
2. Gently tamp down into place.

Attaching the Back Housing
Equipment Required: T6 Torx driver, extended tip.
Preparation: None.
1. Align Back Housing on top of Front Housing assembly. Ensure that PTT, Audio Jack Seal, and
Smart/Mute keypads remain aligned (see Figure 7-17).
2. Ensure that the alignment tab locks onto the back housing pin.
