Establishing external power supply
Via an external power supply on the carrying system holder the battery of the ventilator can
be charged.
1. Connect the DC/DC converter or the power supply unit of the ventilator to the connector
Risk of patient injury
If no charged battery has been inserted into the ventilator and there is an external power
supply failure, ventilation will stop.
► Even during operation with external power supply, always insert a fully charged battery.
Risk of patient injury
If the charging cable is not connected to the carrying system holder, the battery of the
ventilator will not be charged.
► Make sure that the cable is not disconnected.
Risk of patient injury
The patient may be put at risk due to the external DC power supply.
► Do not touch the DC power supply spring contacts and the patient at the same time.
