4-2. Setting Power Saving Mode That Is Activated When
the User Moves Away
By setting the Presence Sensor, you can set the monitor to automatically enter the power saving mode
and display no images on the screen when the user moves away from the monitor. The monitor returns
from the power saving mode when the user moves closer to the monitor. The length of time to pass
before the monitor enters the power saving mode can be specified according to the operating
environment of the monitor or the user's movement.
Attention
• This feature is not available when "RadiCS SelfQC" is running.
• This feature is not available when "Power Save" is set to "Off".

• At the time of shifting to the power saving mode, a message appears notifying the user of the transition.

1. Select "Preferences" from the Setting menu, then select

• The sensitivity becomes lower at high ambient temperatures. In this environment, you can set a larger
sensitivity value for your easier operation. On the other hand, the sensitivity becomes higher at low
temperatures, and accordingly a smaller sensitivity value is required.

movement of heat using the sensor on the front of the monitor. The
sensitivity varies with the user's clothing and ambient temperature.
If you find transition to the power saving mode or recovery from it
occurs unexpectedly, change the setting value.

values.
