TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

WARNING
This unit must be serviced by qualified personnel only.
Service by unqualified personnel may lead to electric
shock or burn.
Symptom
Unit too hot.
TEMPERATURE control knob set too high.
Unit plugged into incorrect power supply.
Internal thermostat defective.
Unit not hot enough.
Unit not allowed enough time to preheat.
TEMPERATURE control knob set too low.
Drawer(s) not closed completely.
Internal thermostat defective.
Product too dry.
Drawer vent in open position.
Product too moist.
Drawer vent in closed position.
Unit not working at all.
Unit not plugged in.
Unit not turned on.
Circuit breaker tripped.
Power I/O (on/off) switch defective.
Internal thermostat defective.
Heating element burned out.

SERVICE INFORMATION

The warranty on this Hatco unit is for one year from date of
purchase or eighteen months from date of shipping from Hatco,
whichever occurs first.
If you experience a problem with this unit during the warranty
period, please do the following:
Contact Local Hatco Dealer
When contacting the Hatco dealer for service assistance,
please supply the dealer with the following information to en-
sure prompt processing:
• Model of unit
• Serial number (located on unit)
• Specific problem with the unit
• Date of purchase
• Name of business
• Shipping address
• Contact name and phone number
Probable Cause

WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord/turn off power at circuit breaker,
and allow unit to cool before performing any cleaning,
adjustments, or maintenance.
Corrective Action
Move TEMPERATURE control knob to a lower setting.
Verify with qualified personnel that power supply matches
unit specification.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Allow unit 15–20 minutes to reach operating temperature.
Move TEMPERATURE control knob to a higher setting.
Make sure all drawers are closed completely.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Move drawer vent to closed position.
Move drawer vent to open position
Plug unit into proper power supply.
Move Power I/O (on/off) switch to the I (on) position.
Reset circuit breaker.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
The Hatco dealer will do the following:
• Provide replacement part(s) as required
• Submit warranty claim to Hatco for processing
Non-Warranty Problems
If you experience a non-warranty problem that requires
assistance, please contact the nearest Authorized Hatco
Service Agency.
