Make sure that no components are damaged or destroyed during transport and handling.

Improper transport
Damage due to improper transport.

Use only suitable lifting gear for transporting the workbench to the erection location.

Do not attach lifting gear to the worktop in order to lift the workbench.

Do not pull the workbench across the floor.
»
Keep the workbench horizontal during transport.
»
Put the workbench down gently.
5.
Setting up the workbench
5.1.
SET-UP
ü At least 2 persons must be employed to transport the workbench to the set-up location.
ü Ensure there is a solid, level floor suitable for the maximum load capacity of the workbench.
1. Set up the workbench on a level and solid floor.
2. Use a spirit level to check whether the workbench is horizontal and perpendicular.

Position the workbench in the set-up location.

ANCHORING
WARNING
Workbench tipping over
Risk of injury
Risk of tipping over, when workbench weighs <150 kg and the loading per drawer is >35 kg.

Anchor the workbench to the floor.
NOTICE
Wiring and pipes installed in the floor
Damage to wiring and pipes.
»
Check floor for sufficient load-bearing capacity before drilling.
»
Use suitable drill and drilling materials.
»
Use suitable protective equipment.
»
Drilling to be carried out by trained personnel.
»
Do not drill in the immediate vicinity of wiring or pipes.

Operation

6.1.
MOVING THE WORKBENCH
WARNING
Rotating parts
Crush hazard by parts of the body being pulled in or run over when moving the workbench.

Do not reach into rotating parts.
»
Do not wear any loose jewellery.
»
Wear foot protection and safety gloves.
»
Wear close-fitting clothing.
»
Keep long hair contained within a hair net.
6.1.1.
Mobile workbench
1. Close the drawers and the door.
2. Release the parking brakes on both castors.
3. Move the workbench to the desired location.
4. Engage the parking brakes on both castors.
6.1.2.
Workbench with undercarriage
1. Close the drawers and the door.
2. Push the lever down.

Workbench is on its wheels.
3. Push or pull the workbench into position.
