8 Cleaning and disinfection

Instructions for use
Disconnect the camera from the USB port and detach the USB cable from
the handpiece before starting any cleaning procedures. Do not immerse
the handpiece in fluids. Do not spray any cleaning solutions directly on the
handpiece.
To clean the handpiece housing, use a soft, clean, and lint-free cloth
dampened with non-corrosive disinfectant solution (max. 70% alcohol).
It is recommended to use alcohol as a disinfectant solution, and if an
untested disinfectant solution is used, handpiece housing may be damaged.
Use a new hygienic cover for each patient. Reusing the hygienic cover could
cause infection.
The operator checks the handpiece, connector, and cable for damage every
day. If damage is found, discontinue use and contact your local dealer.
