4 PREPARING THE GLUE
Wear protective goggles when operating the
bonding machine to avoid getting any glue into
your eyes.
Furthermore, avoid getting the glue onto your
skin. If this is not observed, problems such as
burns, inflammation or allergic reactions could
result.
Avoid drinking, eating and smoking while using
the glue.
If the glue is accidentally ingested, problems
such as respiratory difficulties or allergic
reactions could result.
Attach all safety devices before using the
bonding machine.
If the bonding machine is used without these
devices attached, burns or injury may result.
If using a table which has casters, the casters
should be secured in such a way so that they
cannot move.
Do not touch the nozzle while using or after
using the bonding machine. The nozzle
becomes hot during use, and burns may result.
If there is a chance that you may touch the
nozzle, be sure to wear protective gloves
(*1) Use protective gloves which can withstand temperatures of 200°C and higher.

WARNING
Be careful not to get any of the glue which has
been applied to the cloth into your eyes or onto
your skin.
If this is not observed, problems such as
inflammation or allergic reactions could result.
Do not immerse the bonding machine in liquid.
In addition, do not place objects on top of the
bonding machine. If the contents of cups or
other objects containing liquids spill onto the
bonding machine, fire, electric shocks or
problems with operation could result. If any
liquid gets into the bonding machine (including
the machine

CAUTION
Do not open the melter cover except when
replacing the glue cartridge.
The equipment inside the melter cover, the
melter, the glue cartridge and the cartridge
valve become hot during use and may cause
burns if touched.
Do not touch any of the moving parts or press
any objects against the machine while using the
bonding machine, as this may result in injury or
damage to the bonding machine.
