Starting the Machine

Ensure that the power cord, air supply hose, blast hose, and applicator control cable are properly
connected and that all safety precautions are understood.
1. On the control panel, ensure the disable applicator trigger button is disengaged (blue light is off). If
the blue light is on, pull the button to disengage (blue light will turn off).
2. Push the control panel power switch to the ON (I) position (green light on).
3. On the control panel, turn the dry ice feed rate knob to the maximum setting.
4. Push the applicator mode switch to the right to the dry ice + air blast mode.
5. Press the safety switch on the applicator and pull the trigger for about 40 seconds to purge the
system.
6. Push the applicator mode switch to the central off (O) position.
7. Wear gloves and open the trough
lid; trough lid not shown in the
image on the right.
8. Push the pusher plate all the way
to the right.
9. Insert a block of dry ice into the
trough.
10. Push the pusher plate against the
end of the dry ice block.
11. Close the trough lid.
