Introduction
Error and warning messages can be generated by several different
sources on the X-C 6250 Pro computer including:

Power On Self Test (POST)
•
MS-DOS
•
Windows
•
Applications
Power On Self Test (POST) Error Messages
When the computer restarts, it tests its hardware components. This
test is called the Power On Self Test (POST). If the system finds an
error during the POST, it displays an error message. If this happens,
follow the suggestions listed below.
There are other POST errors that can happen before anything can be
displayed on the screen. In this case, the computer issues a series of
beeps and then stops working. This type of error indicates a serious
hardware problem, and you should contact your organization's help
desk for assistance.

An expansion card has a bad ROM checksum. The expansion card may
