GoBook XR-1 May Encounter A Fault Condition
Following Netmotion Mobility XE™ Installation

Introduction

This document outlines a fault condition that may occur following the installation of Netmotion Mobility XE
application software if you have Bluetooth installed in the unit.

Fault Condition

Following the installation of the Netmotion Mobility XE application you may encounter a 'blue screen' and/or
continuous reboot condition when on battery power only.

Solution

NOTE The following steps require Administrative Rights.
To resolve this issue the IVT BlueSoleil™ Bluetooth application suite must be removed and re-installed while
Netmotion Mobility XE is still installed.

To remove IVT BlueSoleil:

1 Attach external power and boot up into Microsoft Windows XP
®
2 Go to 'Start', 'Control Panel', and double click the 'Add and Remove Programs' icon.
3 Locate the BlueSoleil entry under the 'Currently Installed Programs' list, and then click the 'Remove' button.
4 After removal is complete, you will be prompted to restart your computer so the system configuration changes
can take effect.
5 Click 'Yes' to restart your computer now.

To Re-install IVT BlueSoleil:

1 Upon restart the 'Found New Hardware' wizard will be displayed. Click Cancel.
2 Go to: C:\drivers\RADIO\BG_BT
3 Double click the 'setup.cmd' to begin the installation process.
4 Reboot the computer before using Bluetooth.
