Removing the accessory tool
CAUTION
Risk of injury by the accessory tool! The accessory tool might be hot or have sharp edges.
▶ Wear protective gloves when changing the accessory tool.
▶ Pull the accessory tool off the tool holder.

Installing/removing friction ring and O-ring
1. Using suitable pliers, remove the worn/damaged friction ring and the O-ring.
2. Seat the new O-ring in the groove in the tool holder.
3. Seat the friction ring in the groove in the tool holder.
4. Make sure that the accessory tool is securely installed in the tool holder.

Selecting mode
1. Repeatedly press the mode selector until the mode indicator shows the mode you want to use (see
Technical data).
2. To switch the light on for 2 minutes, simultaneously press the mode selector and the control switch for
at least 0.5 seconds.
▶ The LEDs for the mode indicator go out.

Operation

Setting forward or reverse rotation
▶ Set the forward/reverse switch to the desired direction of rotation.
▶ An interlock prevents switching while the motor is running.
▶ The control switch is locked when the forward/reverse switch is in the middle position (switch-on
interlock).

Switching on and off
1. To switch the product on, press the control switch.
Speed of rotation is regulated by the travel of the control switch.
2. To switch the product off, release the control switch.

Care and maintenance

WARNING
Risk of injury with battery inserted !
▶ Always remove the battery before carrying out care and maintenance tasks!
Care of the product
Carefully remove stubborn dirt.
Carefully clean the air vents, if present, with a dry, soft brush.
Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the housing. Do not use cleaning agents containing silicone as
these can attack the plastic parts.
Use a dry, clean cloth to clean the contacts of the product.
Care of the Li­ion batteries
Never use a battery with clogged air vents. Clean the air vents carefully using a dry, soft brush.
