Correcting minor faults
Repairs to the electrical components
of this appliance should only ever be
caiiied out by a qualified electriclar.

Some minor problems however can
be dealt with as follows;

This Is not a fauH. As the cooking
areas heat up. the hummno disap¬
pears completety.
... the two front heating areas do
not heat up when awitehed on?

• II yes. check that the timer Is cor*
redly set. (See separate Instnxtions
for the tinker).
• If noi the mains luse may have
blown, or the automatic cut-out may
have tripped, (contact a quaifed
eledrician, or the MIele Service
Department).

takes you into a higher temperature

Is the control poelioned between t

seleded on these settings. Pull out the
Imob. When automatic switching from
auto^ieat-up lo normal continuation
cooking takes place, the Hght goes out,

• Are you using pans wNh a heat-
retaining base? The heat ^perses
more slowly into the food.
• Are you usi^ a very large pan? In

Check whether
a the selector switch Is set to the
lunction required, and the tempera-
hire corrtrol is set at the correct tem¬
perature.

If yes. check whether the Timer Is
